Norway - glaciation

This is the moraine valley where the meltwater from the Nigardsbreen arm of the Jostedal Glacier runs. The water is a wonderful turquoise colour and the river, in the summer, is a raging torrent. Unfortunately the scale of the landscape obsures that in this picture, but the trees on the far hillside are all very mature pines!!

Mike- I like this photo because it looks real without exaggerated coloring. I can still enjoy the blues and greens.
