I'm using the Acratech long lens head on the tripod. Sometimes use the 1.4x extender.

What body? Is it an A7R? How fast does the camera “wake up” so you can focus is you have waited 30 minutes and the camera is “sleeping”? My Fuji GFX takes a second or so and thet is awful for catching a bird!
