office snaps

I finally got around setting up my office in a way I wanted it to be. It's far from ideal, but suits my needs all right.

I looked around for a suitable desk, but could not find anything that I liked, so I designed it myself and went to a place that deals in glas, gave them my design and they cut it. The table sits in a u-channel and is supported by the four slim steel posts. 2,65 meter wide and 1,20 deep gives me sufficient space. It was not cheap, but it is satisfying to make the place the way you want it without compromise.

When I have some time to kill, I plan to put the 24" Eizo on the wall. and the "big mac", ups and harddrives into the next room to eliminate maschine noise.

Congrats, George

looks good to me
you finally made it - still grinning about your epson-story.

Have a good start with all the new tools.

I don't think any office is ideal! Infact, most desks at visual effects studios are very far from perfect! And we have to sit at them sometimes 18 hours a day when things get busy!

Here's mine at home. A year or so old, but still looks pretty much the same:
