This is impressive in B&W with a rich set of blacks, mid tones and a full array of bold detail in the sky overhead. I'm surprised by the island of road in the foreground. Have you thought of bringing out interest there? I just wonder as it is very understated and perhaps it could do more work!

Thanks, but I saw it more as an allusion to the road leading into the other valleys. Something to disrupt the illusion of remoteness...
