My World: One statue, two takes, three processings

I tend to like dark images. However, the medium one - the last posted - is more attractive with lot of details in the dark areas.

The fog adds drama to the scene. Well done ! :)

I personally would aim for something between the middle image and the last image. The top image IMO looses too much detail in the statue and the bottom image seems kind of flat, but the middle image is a hair too bright for me but brings out the metallic of the statue so nicely!

I love it, though! Very cool!

All of these are captivating. Each one has mood and is distinctive. I would have identified any one of these as "just right", but I realize now these are the expressions of potential that a great primary vision from your mind allows.

A wonderful set and a great experience for us, the viewer.

Hi, Michael,

Indeed, each wondrous in its own way.

Somehow of all I think I prefer the dunkel.

Thanks.

Best regards,

Doug

Antonio,

Thanks! The setting and the light allows for many variations/interpretations. It is like a canvas for imagination depending on the processing.

Best regards,
Michael

Hello Michael

I like the mood and the light in the first image its more about shape, light ,composition than it is details.

I like the 3rd one best I guess because the first one although I like it better than the second, I wish I could see more details. In the second, I find the light too bright and garish.
As you can see, everyone has their favorites and we all agree to disagree - the final decision is always up to the actual artist; that is what makes it yours. :)
