I was down at Inlet Point , Litchfield Beach SC this past week and saw this osprey flying with his dinner :)

Nice one, Don!

Did you get to Huntington Beach State Park? I was there several week-ends ago, and had some success there. Also went to the rookery behind the Waccattee Zoo, also with some decent opportunities.

No, this time I did not get to go to Huntington Beach State Park .
One day on the beach I saw a parade of brown pelicans and about three dolphins going towards Pawleys Island and another osprey with a fish so I went to get my camera and kept it beside me but did not see them again :)
I did get some photos of white egrets in some pretty light behind the marsh at Inlet Point I can post later .

Well, if you ever head that way again, let me know - it would be fun to get together and shoot! I'm north of Charlotte, NC, so I'm game for shooting anywhere in NC/SC if you're in the neighborhood.

I'll have to check out exactly where Inlet Point is. I've been down to that area several times in the past, but am not familiar with that name/location.

Inlet Point is past Litchfield Inn all the way South at the end near Pawleys Island and is a family condo area that my parents share with some other folks.
I would love to shoot with a pro .
