Very interesting perspective. I am guessing (after Googling as suggested) that paddo's are hallucinagenic shrooms enjoyed by some in your country? We have something similar here but ours can be found nestled in nice, soft, cow patties. I am curious. Is possession or use of these in your country illegal?

your combination of visoflex3|bellows2|extention tubes|m8|works very fine on the macros, your other examples show it too.
I wonder about the used lens (DOF), not knowing really the visoflex-system.
BTW: here in CH, there's similar mushrooms; they grow on cowshit. But I never tried..
Hi Michael,
the lens used is a tele-elmar-m 1:4.0/135mm with detachable head. The head screws into an adapter which screws into the bellows. Extention tubes are also available.
The dof is very shallow at close range, not much more then 0.5 to 1.5 cm depending of chosen aperture. While the lens ranges from f4 up to f16, I stay within f5.6 - f8(f11), which gives me acceptable dof without losing too much image quality, especially sharpness, due to diffraction kicking in at f11 - f16. But in the end it's always a precarious balance between dof and speed.
Good for you for leaving those mushrooms alone ...
