As Maggie tells, it's dramatic indeed. But then why the processing as you have used?

The drama is inherent and color changes might not be needed. In fact color except monochrome might take away from what you have which is a beautiful composition of natural materials. This image is a rare one which I'd not consider in B&W but rather in the warmth of sienna.

James, I'm with Maggie and Asher here. The original image is beautiful with wonderfully natural tones and colours. Why use a heavy pp for a view that deserves to be seen as nature intended?
