yesterday I tried for first time pet photography with my sisters dog. Got some good images and had a lot of fun. Only thing is I tried to shoot my cat and he's an lazy bum, had trouble even to get a studio shot. any suggestions for shooting cats?

Hi John,

So where are the pictures of the dog? Then the cat!

As a start, put a saucer of milk in gently lit location with a black card background so the cat has limited choices in position and get down to that level and work away.
