If you find yourself in Tomales, it's well worth paying a visit to Nick's Cove. The food is fantastic, as good as any high end restaurant can produce, the band played great and the Lagunitas IPA (a lil' sumpin' sumpin') tasted so good too.

Thanks, Asher.

We researched (as we do and find out about all places before we travel to), this place. The food was a real surprise. They have beautiful little shacks you can stay in, that front and look out over the cove. This shot was taken from one we stayed in.
A lot of San Franciscans go there for short romantic breaks with their other halves. You can take your food and drink down to the boathouse...it has a piano, tables and chairs and stays unlocked and open all night long.
Btw, all these rooms, as well as the boathouse have stoves and logs, and can be lit for when it gets a little chilly in the evenings.
