Question on Photomarket Intelligence

I wonder whether anyone around her can point me in the right direction.

When I was working in IT business, to be able to get a half way decent analysis and trends, actual market intelligence in form of reports required usually to pay for studies provided by the likes such as:

IDC: http://www.idc.com/

Gartner Group: http://www.gartner.com/

Do you know of such service focussing on the field of photography? I am particulary interested in data with reference to web sales.

I have used gartner myself extensively, expensive but good,
nothing I know of for the photographic industry,

garnet would be able to give analysis on technology strategy, obsolesence and tech roadmaps of products in the photography industry, but it depends what you want.

I guess you know "Werben und Verkaufen", "PhotoPresse" or MediaReport.

I´m not sure which kind of intelligence or analyse "in the field of photography" you mean!? Do you mean selling landscape-photography as large prints?

The best way maybe to look around what others do, how their prices are, asking galleries about large landscapes and so on.

that´s a mixture from online-gallery and very fine showrooms in the major cities like Berlin, Düsseldorf -)), Hamburg, New York and so on (Köln maybe ;-) ).
