I swear I commented on this handsome bird! Probably I was just mesmerized and didn’t hit “post reply”!
I adore this birds red hat. Reminds me of my cheeky grandson. He has such a red hat!
Are these hard to find or you simply move towards the sound?

Thanks, Asher. I hear them and see their red head flying from tree to tree. What is hard is getting a shot of them close.

I've only seen a bare few of them and like Kingfishers, hard to capture a good shot.
