I have been paying regular visits to Yorkshire for the past year or two, it's a lovely and beautiful place but they're are other things that interest me moreso...like the analogy between the cliffs and what's in the foreground here.
This is Sandsend on the west coast and in the far distance you can see Whitby Abbey and it's pier, and lighthouse...
Sandsend, Yorkshire '13 - Paul Abbott
Paul,
Thanks for opening my eyes to such view of Britain! Of course, I admire your monuments and architectural interpretations of London.
I must admit openly, I know shamefully little of the natural beauty of England except, of course London, Brighton and Stratford on Avon. Oh, I do admit a visit to Glasgow, education in Birmingham and one stint at Edinburgh castle, but no prison time. But such scenes as these, the North Country, The Lake district, the Scottish Highlands, Welsh Moors and so much more, utterly missing from my experience.
I plan to make up for it and use pictures in OPF to help me make a better itinerary.
