Link.....I saw this in the list of threads and my mind went in the direction of National Geographic photographer Beth Wald who did a long term assignment in the far back country of Afganistan and captured some amazing images and i became a instant fan of hers....So when i went to the link the pictures were not what i expected but as any good picture should they made you think.
We go to bed each night in our warm rooms an comfy beds and theres so much going on in the world out there that is NOT comfortable.And the merry go rounds spinning and theres absolutely no way to stop it all you can do is watch.The pictures remind us of this.such powerful images.
and so they came with cameras
breaking through the morning mist
press and businessmen—tycoons—Episcopal philanthropists
lost in their appraisal of the body of a woman
but all we saw were lowlands
clouds clung to mountains without strings

walking and then running
and then they were gone into the fog but Anne said
