I do rather enjoy using the 'painterly' effect.

I produce this effect with a combination of 43 spices and herbs that are known only to me.

Again, the effect diminished the contrast between reality and fantasy just enough to enable me to sleep.

I did try painting with a brush. I may as well have shat on the canvas.
