OK :: so you put together a group of women on a blazing hot day - carry a wood table out into the street - lay a full animal carcass across the table - and wait for customers to walk by and tell you what cut of meat they want - - - OH and you add a Curious and Hungry Street Dog to the mix.

THAT IS YOUR NEIGHBOURHOOD BUTCHER SHOP NICA STYLE (at least in some of the extremities of the city)

Robert,

What animal is it?

At least they dressed it at home and got rid of the intestines, liver, pancreas and other viscera!

But no plastic as a tablecloth and nothing to keep away the flies!!

I guess it will sell fast. But what animal is it?

I asked. The women said it was Rez (Beef). This was taken about 11:00 in the morning - was half gone while I was talking - and would likely be totally gone in half an hour or so.

The street dog that came along while I was shooting - really made the shot for me.

I like the picture and the dog does make it even better. The only thing I can say is that here if one of the Health Inspectors saw that they would have a heart attack. But I do have to say that is a good picture.

Exactly. That is what I absolutely love about being in this culture. I experience andcan photograph situations that I have never seen before - or ones that I remember from my youth that are no longer done for whatever reason.
