Very interesting! I'd go for Armenian myself. Tried flipping it to see what it reads, but just got double vision! Was there a store front nearby with writing on the windows and a strong light behind it?

Excellent - the illusion works - - - in fact there were banners (I guess that is what you would call them) overhead, flapping in the wind. Here is the overall scene so there is no more guessing as to the language:
