Will Thompson told me he was not sure whether the forum could successfully host animated GIF files, and I said I didn't know either.

But here is a try (an animated GIF file from frames from one of Will's recent model shoots).

Oh, it is said to be too large. (Was 1.31 MB when I chose it to be uploaded, no idea how large it was when it got there.)

Pity.

I don’t think we have an issue here but we do need to experiment to discover the max file size for OPF to host the GIF. I would guess it must be below 1MB.

If it’s loaded on Vimeo, YouTube, then file size is essentially what THEY allow, as it’s simply streamed from THAT external platform!
