Another beautiful portrait of nature where the deer carry "snow" on their bellies! Interestingly, with so many leaves gone from the trees, the most powerful aspect of the picture is the strong criss crossing but left to right dominant direction of the tree branches. This contrasts with the softness of the grassland and the almost invisible deer.

Clarity in concept is more important that well defined objects!

You are so right. I think too much effort is made too often in many photographs to making things clean, even, precisely drawn, high contrast and clearly defined.

So with the entire seres of Dwayne's landscapes, each allows the woodlands and the open spaces to be shown and then we can explore. Its a softer offering and more peaceful than the pictures that bold show what you cannot see in real life.
