The scent of a woman...

I must have taken a few photos in venice this time. I, unlike those that have clients to satisfy or deadlines to meet or earn a living thru photography, find that the most treasured photographs I have taken would be considered merely snapshots..of family/friends and such like.

Our trip this time was no exception. If I had to choose one photograph from all others of our recent trip
this would be it. Her good mornings have woken me to a bright day and her goodnights have lulled
me to sleep..for 37 years.

Venice brought out her exuberance, the spirit of mischief, her audacity to do her thing oblivious of what onlookers might think.

Her smile captures the romance of Venice for me...

Fahim,
Love is a blessed thing.
I, too have only a few images which I'd define as "treasured".
They are mere snaps taken of my lady, whom I cherish.
I'd part with every image I've ever taken before losing these.

Two extraordinary people found each other. When this happens, it is one of the greatest wonders of the world. Even from the little I know, the results of this particular case have been extraordinary.

Best regards,

Doug

Thank you all for stopping by. Indeed we are blessed, those that have a life partner to be proud about
and thankful for.

In a lighter vein pity the spouse that does endure some hardships to capture these moments

to enjoy together after the travels are forgotten.

Best regards and thank you from the both of us.
