Vintage Vehicle Rally

While I was in the Lake District last week, I went to Kirkby Stephen, where there was a rally for vintage trucks, tractors, cars and buses.
The light was very harsh and most of the vehicles were parked close together and surrounded by admiring enthisiasts, so it was difficult to isolate the subject.
All taken with a 50D + EF-S 17-55 f/2.8.

A fire truck.

And a London bus ferrying visitors between the main sites at Kirkby Stephen and Brough.

And something about which I know absolutely nothing. It says "AUGRIER" on the side, but........

The "AUGRIER" sure looks like Turbine engine but my best guess is that is a flat belt drive for a front mounted accessory such as a harvester or drill.

The 'Augrier' reads actually Allgaier.

Allgaier was a german manufacturer who started right after the war. This part of the business lasted only for nine years.
