Water Ripple Abstract

Hey Y'all,

There's little new ice forming recently, and spring wildflowers are still in long-range planning mode. The arrival of the first migrating kinglets is a few weeks away.

This photo is a humble attempt to make something out of nothing. The ripples were caused by the undulating sandstone stream bed, and the reflections are from the canyon walls, trees, patchy snow, and blue sky.

Canon 5D, 180mm macro @ f/11 and ISO 200.

Just for fun,

Tom

Hi Tom,

Now the flowers have started to arrive, at least in Southern California. Still, I do like what you have shown. You do have a knack of finding small pieces of nature to record that are simple and beautiful. Want to try something? Think of this as a primitive perhaps and combine it with something else, another picture and see what you might create.
