Anyone shoot this weekend?....I went saturday up in the mountains....I didnt come up with much.Took a number of pictures mostly of things that the composition just sucked.On my way back home this brilliant rainbow appeared against the darkened sky.People were off the road everywhere taking pictures of it but there was no real good composition for it....I just kept driving and then it came to me as to where i needed to be to shoot it.....That one shot might turn out really nice.....I dont know....I cant down load the card my drive is full ={

I am transfering files to my portable storage drive to free up 100 gigs....

I have a sore throat,started today....I might get up early an go shoot tomorrow....

I was in the mountains though and did not come up with a single shot worthy of editing...Hows that happen theres so much to shoot up there....Pretty disgusted with my inability to come up with a decent frame after spending most of the day in the woods....

Anyone have any shooting adventures?

Erik,

I doubt that what you say is utterly true. Rather some of your images require work. Most artists don't get what they want on the first go and have to look at their efforts as part of a process. I am certain you can find amongst everything some pictures that are worth more consideration.

I shot musicians this weekend and also at a "Farmer's Market". Each time, I feel I make a little progress but of course most images cannot be worked out as, at first, it's like shooting at flies buzzing around. There's so much going on. Which fly is important?

The one we make significant to us! Anyway, that's what I try to do, make things significant.
