I am a Seattle based professional photographer. My photography background stems from a love for art. I have always been involved in the arts, but photography has intrigued me with its seemingly endless artistic possibilities. I have spent much of the last two years perfecting my craft and attention to detail in an attempt to provide the finest achievable images for any occasion or individual.

Asher... Maybe I didn't make myself clear in my last message... I joined this site to discuss techniques and collaborate w/other members... i have found you to be quite rude and obnoxious through the course of this thread... instead of welcoming a new member to this forum you have managed to alienate one... please feel free to delete this entire conversation along with my account... if anyone asks me about this site i will give my honest opinion... good idea / bad owner

Hi Locke,

Do you have any images you'd like to show here, to give us an idea of what you like (style/subjects/special techniques/etc.). You've hinted in your intro to a love for a (fine) art type of photography, and that you have experience shooting a variety of different genres. How about an example of something you've enjoyed shooting, and with a little background as to the why and how? Afterall, an image says more than a thousand words... We're a global community that loves images.

If you like to hear what other have to say about your images, for you personal benefit, that's the standard operating procedure here. If you just want to share an image, but are not seeking for advice/critique, just say so. If you have a useful technique you want to show or even share, great, we all get to benefit and you can expect reciprocity.

Looking forward to your positive contributions to our shared love for photography, in all its aspects.

Bart

An apology to OPF..

Hello OPF members (particularly the moderators/owners). I would like to apologize for my recent behavior on this forum. I realize that many of you were offended by some of the things I said previously, for this I am sorry. I would honestly like to be a contributing member of this community.

Thanks for your understanding,
Locke

Very decent of you Locke!

We look forward to you posting your favorite images so that we can focus on photography that stimulates us. That's after all what we are all about. Then all this will vanish like a cloud that passed!

Post your interesting pictures with details of how they came to be taken or whatever sets the stage and we'll be able to give feedback and others sometimes will follow with their own offerings if you hit the right spot!

Kind wishes,

Asher
