Food posed a slight problem for us. Not that it was not available..actually it was plentiful and seemed sumptuous.
But my wife and me have some special dietary requirements.
One of the first things we do, in a new country we visit, is to buy some utensils. Like a grill thingy..you know the one where one puts something like a burger and closes the top and bottom and puts it on the grill. Yes, that one.
Then some oil, a kitchen oil brush, a flat turning spoon (? ), cereal bowls, plates, knives, forks and spoons and of course, washing liquid, and cleaning cloth pads.
We use them at a place and leave them there when we move on. It was surprising to the hotel management when my wife asked them if she could go amongst the chefs at the breakfast buffet to make her own eggs or whatever..mind you I am talking about places where there are two waiting to assist the clients per table.
Another thing..we insist on Halal ( Kosher ) food. So In one place I asked for it...
