Scott, is that done with the old timey Nikkor 135 f2.8 that everybody hated because it was not a very sharp lens?
Jim, I really don't know what the opinions of that lens are - or if it's the same one you're thinking about. I researched it awhile back and I'm sure it was made around 1974. It's a really simple lens, built-in metal hood, etc. I disassembled, cleaned, and rebuilt it last year and have been amazed at how good it is.

It isn't outstanding wide-open, but I'd guess 90% or more of my aerial images I shoot with it are at f5.6. It does exhibit some CA in the conditions you'd expect (light reflected off water, etc), but Nikon NX2 software wipes the CA out almost completely.
