An extra idea! Let me share this:
When I travel anywhere and see a captivating image, I frame as well as I can.
However, I realize that there could be more there, so I several further 25% overlapping images on each side and sometimes even above and below.
Then when I get home by my large computer monitor, I stitch then to build a panoramic scene that I could only have observed multiples of image to foreground distance behind me.
So I am able to look at it all and decide, de novo, whet compositions lie within. This permits entirely new perspectives, inclusion and exclusion and composition hardly possible if, in the actual location, behind you was a cliff, a lake or a bull in a field you could dare enter!
