It’s very acceptable and has no jarring Gaudi element. As I implied, this is so exceptional.
I have seen pictures of house adjacent to one another in the Nederlands, with a sympathetic family of such hues.

I got to playing around and came up with this edit...it is much more stark but not jarringly so...at least me thinks.
