There ARE ALREADY QUARTZ AND FLUORITE lens elements in this lens, but to color correct it from UV to near IR
needs glass with a very differert refractive index...

Not much happens belows 320nm anyway in biology, only combustion processes need to go down to 280nm or thereabouts.

Nucleic acid peaks at 260 nm!!
