DIY Norman 400b batteries?

I have a 400b with next-to-useless batteries. I am in the process of ordering what I think will be replacement cells that I plan to use to replace the dead/dying cells.
I'm wondering if anyone else has gone down this road... I'd like to hear how things worked out.

Where are you located?
I have replaced many of them!
A airsoft battery is the same footprint, all you need to do is replace the connector!
