A while ago when Neal Larson (the guy who found T-Rex "Sue") asked me to help him with some fossils, I developed some method, used here, too...

PS: that white patch is where there was a rapair done, easily shows in UV light...

I wonder whether it could be imaged with X rays or a CT scan?

Perhaps even and MRI.

Who knows, there could be some accidental inclusion of some molecule with an electrons that would spin in a magnetic field!

Take it over to the University Hospital just for fun!
