The great blue heron is a large wading bird in the heron family Ardeidae, common near the shores of open water and in wetlands over most of North and Central America, as well as far northwestern South America, the Caribbean and the Galápagos Islands.​

I like the reflection!

These birds to me give an example of what it might have been like to see a dinosaur grab an animal and eat it whole.

In London, children were traumatized to see a rabbit swallowed whole!

These birds can grab fish and frogs but also any rodent that foolishly gets too close!

Look closely and you can see the little fish in its beak.
