Hi everyone,

My name is Punit Madhwani, and I’m a professional Asian wedding photographer Leicester, UK. I’m also the founder of Adimad Productions, a studio dedicated to capturing the vibrant colours, deep traditions, and emotional moments of Indian, Sikh, Muslim, and fusion weddings. With over 17 years of experience, I’ve had the honour of photographing hundreds of weddings across the UK and internationally. My work blends storytelling, cultural sensitivity, and cinematic style, and I’m passionate about documenting love stories in a way that’s timeless yet modern. I shoot primarily with the Canon R5 system, along with cinema cameras for wedding films. I’m always experimenting with lighting, framing, and new tech – and that’s one reason I joined this forum. I’m excited to connect with fellow photographers, share experiences, learn from others, and contribute where I can. Looking forward to getting involved in the conversations and geeking out over gear, techniques, and photography life with you all!

Namaste Punit-ji,

Long ago I used to drive through Leicester from Lincoln to visit my parents about 50 years ago. I remember a section of the A46 with lots of sari shops and stuff ...

Punit,

Once again, a huge welcome. I was born u
In Northampton and raised in London, but have never been to Leicester. So it will be new and yet still nostalgic for me, since it’s my home country!

I like the fact that you are celebrating cultures they have self-sustained for thousands of years. What’s so remarkable is that traditions are interwoven with with legend that carry values.

Although much of mythology can be swept away in the rush to be modern, I hope these traditions are maintained as they bring to new generations the time tested values that make us civilized.

We look forward to being amazed by the bright colors and different ceremonies, celebrations and costumes of the interesting people you serve!

Asher
