This is at f/8 or f/11 - any more and it gets almost impossible to see with the lens being manual.

A Canon AF would allow you to shoot at f/11 and see what you are looking at - f/13 may be the best you might be able to use before diffraction starts to appear and softens rather than sharpens your image.
