And while taking these a hedgehog snuffled by... She didn't mind the flash (flinched the first time which worried me, but seemed happy after that) and if you look closely you can see she has passengers..

A 3d printed one from America (rather expensive in truth), where the light bounces back then forwards. Still experimenting with it - there will still be hotspots on reflective insects such as ladybirds. I may need to add a layer of Vellum over the diffuser to soften it further at the expense of more power...
