I have never seen such a bird. It looks as if it’s the creation of an artist with oil paint. The beard and neck feathers seem like brush strokes.

I see it’s in a Mountain range that interrupts the Andes chain. I have an interesting geography lesson ahead and already discovered there’s a protected national park that is a gem to visit if one is vaccinated and fit!
