Another important point, Fahim, that I like in the aesthetics: the composition is one of “steps” formed by her and the furniture and the ledge.
Notice. also the cup on the top ledge gives a small balancing counterpoint to her major form on the lower left.

Looks quite annoyed. I think I detect a furrowed brow. Try cropping the image right at the base of her elbow with no jean. I think it will have even more impact.
