Playing a string instrument one had to produce music, but projecting it in a concert hall, unamplified, is always a challenge.
There’s a trade secret to this: practicing in the open air forces one to deliver a “big sound”!
She is doing what Yo-yo Ma had done as a young student. He would practice alone in the woods!
